A how-to guide on effectively using the LyfeFocus Lower Back Support Belt

The Lower Back Support Belt is designed to be comfortable yet supportive, stabilising the lower back and core muscles.
It can be used throughout the day, while undertaking desk work, sports activity, gardening, picking up the kids or whenever lower back support is needed.
To ensure maximum effect at the most painful times, the belt comes with a reusable hot/cold pack that can be inserted into a pouch at the back, to relieve muscle tension (hot) or reduce inflammation (cold).

Step 1
Place the belt around the lower waist and fasten at the front. The two visible support strips at the back should run parallel either side of the spine, with the logo facing outwards.
The belt can be moved up or down slightly to best suit your needs but should remain in the lower back area.

Step 2
Use the smaller adjustable Velcro straps on the outside of the belt to adjust tightness, overlapping the main belt fastening point for optimum support, whilst still ensuring you are comfortable.
Be careful not to tighten fully when using with the reusable hot/cold pack and first check for gel leakage.

Heating & Freezing
Microwave Heating:
Place the hot/cold pack in the microwave for 30 seconds. With caution, add 10 second intervals if still required.
Freezing:
Place the hot/cold pack in the freezer for at least 2 hours.
Warning
Always consult a medical specialist first regarding symptoms or extended use of the product
Do not use the hot/cold pack if you have sunburn or open wounds
Do not put the hot/cold pack in direct contact with skin straight out of the microwave or freezer
Insert hot/cold pack into the pouch for a maximum of 20 minutes at one time
Ensure the hot/cold pack has reached room temperature before switching between heating and freezing
Be careful not to tighten the belt fully when using with hot/cold pack, and do not apply heavy pressure or lie down on the hot/cold pack
Ensure the pack does not over expand in the microwave
