A how-to guide on effectively using the LyfeFocus Hot/Cold Pack Small
The Hot/Cold Pack Small has a strapped design so you can fix it in place to any part of the body, making it multi-use wherever you are. Heat it up to relieve muscle tension and freeze to reduce inflammation or swelling.

Microwave Heating
Make sure the hot/cold pack is folded loosely, not tightly in the microwave.
Microwave the pack for 45 seconds.
Remove from microwave and move gel around gently so it is evenly spread.
Return the pack to the microwave with opposite side facing up.
Finally, microwave for a further 45 seconds.
If not warm enough, place back in the microwave for 15 second intervals until desired temperature is reached.

Freezing
Place the hot/cold pack in the freezer between 2-6 hours.
Attach to the desired area for a maximum 20 minutes.
The pack can initially be used over a T-shirt or cloth until happy to use directly on the skin.
Warning
Always consult a medical specialist first regarding symptoms or extended use of the product
Do not use if you have sunburn or open wounds
Ensure the product has reached room temperature before switching between heating and freezing
Do not put the Hot/Cold Pack in direct contact with skin straight out of the microwave or freezer
Ensure the pack does not over expand in the microwave
